It’s an ok Novotel, standard Novotel rooms. Location seems a bit outside the centre but it actually connects very well with all of London. Paddington is very near and has plenty of tube lines. Grocery store and coffee places very close too. This Novotel tends to be cheaper than the other London ones. My main criticism is that in 2024 it’s almost a crime not to have sockets next to the bed. Back in 2018 I wrote the same thing about this hotel and the hotel actually replied to assure me that sockets were being installed. Not in our room 6 years later.

We are currently undergoing extensive renovations in our hotel with Bar, Restaurant and Lobby areas already completed and works to replacing the entire facade currently being carried out. The renovation of our bedrooms should follow and the new interior design and decoration does include the installation of USB sockets near the beds. Kind regards, Paulo Bernini - Operations Manager.

After I arrived I was told there were workmen working on the exterior of the building from 9am until 4pm. I didn't realize they would be working right outside my window! I should have invited them into see if they could fix my shower door that wouldn't close and seal so I wouldn't end up with water all over the floor?

I'm not one to complain about our stays in Accor hotels but the Novotel Paddington is not good value for money. The mattress are appallingly, uncomfortable, in both the rooms we stayed in... the air-conditioning in the second an "Executie Suite" did not work. We've stayed in a number of Novotel branded hotels across the world and the Paddington is not at the standard of the other hotels.

Satisfied with everything. Breakfast excellent. Pancakes for our child and veggie sausages for me. Pool was a big plus. The hotel was a bit on the expensive side though, but maybe london wont get any cheaper.
