This is probably one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The reception area is quite nice but once you move away from there things start to get a bit grim. Our room was accessed via a tunnel like corridor, the room was on the first floor and there are no lifts so you have to carry your own suitcases up the stairs. The rooms are dark and grubby, in urgent need of a major refurbishment. The only positive is the hotel is close to the airport but I wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay here.

Disappointed as Accor members- this is not in line with Accor hotel standards. While the staff were lovely, the hotel had too many locals wandering around and using the pool- non paying guests should not be using guest facilities. The room had carpets??! For humid environment a carpet is not practical- the cleaners did not have vacuums so do not how the carpets were being cleaned, the room was musty and dusty and bathroom was disgusting. The food was excellent and well as the gym but dreaded going back to the room. Had serious doubts bedding was being changed - the rooms are too old and not a 4 star standard. Will rate this more a 2.4-3 stars and does not justify the price they are charging Would not be staying here again other than to eat at the restaurant.

There were only 2 things we liked about this hotel: 1. A good restaurant 2. Close proximity to the airport. However, overall, we have been left with a sour taste in our mouth and a bitter end to our time in Fiji. We were incredibly disappointed with our stay at Novotel Nadi and agree with other reviews suggesting a 2 star would better reflect this hotel. We had booked a superior double room with multiple beds. However, the room we ended up with did not match that description. The room was crawling with ants near the bed, by the tea station, and through the bathroom. The room was dirty - notably toilet, bath and floors did not look clean. The room was dark and stunk of cigarette smoke. The bed was uncomfortable, and the pillows were in effect lumpy pillow cases. If you have booked here a warning that they may attempt to overcharge you for the room. On arrival, it was acknowledged that we had paid in advance via Expedia, and we were advised a FJD100 hold would be charged to our card for any damages. On check out after a comedy of misunderstandings, they charged an additional FJD113.50 after misleading me to believe they needed my card to refund the original hold. The hotel was then reluctant to refund either transaction until we could prove that we had already paid (despite, I'm sure their system showing the settled account). Our taxi driver who had witnessed the interaction told us we are not the first people he's seen impacted by this. We would not recommend this stay to anybody and would suggest avoiding at all costs.

Pretty average. The room smelled really damp and everything was falling off - the toilet paper roll holder, the cupboard handles. I really didn’t care too much because I’m not really fussy. As the reviews state - it really needs an upgrade. The reception on the tv was bad. The staff were fine and the breakfast was very good. The food at the restaurant was average but acceptable. The grounds around the hotel are very pretty. Overall, not great considering the price but it’s acceptable. Not Novotel standards in a Western country

The hotel was welcoming. Although they took a hold of $600 aud which I thought was a bit extreme which I am still waiting for. The food for breakfast was okay, gym needs an upgrade. overall hotel is to old and needs an update not really worth the price tag.
