Great Place to Stay in New Plymouth

The Novotel costs a bit more to stay in but it's worth it. It is located close to the main amenities in New Plymouth and also within easy walking distance to Woolworths, McDonalds, and so on. The rooms were extremely tidy, the towels were fluffy and the sheets were very clean. The showers were amazing, there were roomy suites and large kingsize beds. The staff were very helpful and the restaurant had a nice range of food and drinks. We will definitely stay here again.

We stayed 3 nights in a one bedroom suite. The property is modern and well presented. There was good carparking available, including free onsite parking. Reception staff were always pleasant and helpful. Our suite was attractive and comfortable. We had dinner in the restaurant and were happy with the quality and price. We thought the gym was pretty small with just 4 pieces of equipment in a small room. Our first stay here but happy to return and can recommend.

Fabulous stay as a family of four. Everyone went out of their way to ensure our family was looked after, the children were treated warmly with gifts and our children’s allergies were catered for exceptionally in the wonderful in room dining and in house restaurant options. We will absolutely be back to stay at the Novotel New Plymouth. Handy location and great easy access parking and nice tidy and spacious rooms.

We chose hotel as we are Accor members and enjoy the hotel chain offerings. They were able to offer secure bike storage, as one of us was taking part in a race, which was great. We were also able to grab free parking on site. They also have underground secure parking for a fee. Only slight complaint is that noise travels between rooms (not expected) and from the corridor (which does happen). Would stay here again. Didn’t try onsite. Dining or bar, but if you’re happy to stroll between 800.1200m we found some lovely places in the CBD.

Every one here at the hotel was so nice very welcoming and brilliant service they all went out of there way in each department absolutely amazing
