Dubai has its sights firmly set on the future, but it is still intrinsically tied to its modest origins as a port city with its old souks still trading in the historic neighbourhoods of Bur Dubai and Dubai Creek. Here you will find remnants of the old city in Al Fahidi’s restored alleyways and be able to discover more about the city’s history at the Dubai Museum.
